Leadership Rancho Cordova

Leadership Rancho Cordova is a balanced combination of educational experiences, a retreat and a group community action project over a nine-month period. During the fall class members attend a two-day retreat focusing on personal/public leadership skills and group dynamics. The retreat is complemented by day-long modules presented each month which focus on the significant resources and challenges that face the Rancho Cordova area. Leadership practices are interwoven throughout the year. Leadership Rancho Cordova alumni are a fundamental part of the program. They commit their expertise, energy and significant amount of time to the committee work necessary to maintain the level of excellence in class membership and programming. Additionally, several alumni co-facilitate program

Participants are generally those who live or work within the Rancho Cordova Planning Area and consider themselves emerging leaders, have a commitment to serve their community and a desire to bring the benefit of their leadership skills to their organization or employer. Participants are chosen to represent a wide range of backgrounds: business, government, education, and non-profits.
